To help reverse this, Mystic Sleep releases hundreds of phytonutrients that act at the molecular level to normalize hormone levels, support brain function, alleviate mental duress, remove toxins, restore your immune system, and reinstate healthy sleep cycle. 2) Set a Schedule – Go to bed at a set time each night and get up at the same time each morning. Disrupting this schedule may lead to insomnia. Avoid napping during the day. “Sleeping in” on weekends also makes it harder to wake up early on Monday morning because it re-sets your sleep cycles for a later awakening. 3) Exercise – Try to exercise 20 to 30 minutes a day. Daily exercise often helps people sleep, although a workout soon before bedtime may interfere with sleep. For maximum benefit, try to get your exercise about 5 to 6 hours before going to bed. 4) Avoid Caffeine, Nicotine, and Alcohol – Avoid drinks that contain caffeine, which acts as a stimulant and keeps you awake. Sources of caffeine include coffee (100-200 mg), soft drinks (50-75 mg), non-herbal teas (50-75 mg), chocolate, diet drugs, and some pain relievers. Smokers tend to sleep very lightly and often wake up in the early morning due to nicotine withdrawal. Alcohol robs people of deep sleep and REM sleep and keeps them in the lighter stages of sleep. 5) Avoid Using Sedatives – While you might fall asleep, the complete restorative sleep cycle will

I suffer from Insomnia, from as early as I can remember. I have tried alot of things like relaxation, not getting on the internet before bed time, reading a boring book, etc. I use Tylenol PM, (2) every night in order to get a good nights rest, even though I know that it is harmful to my liver. I have taken them for the past 4 years now. I am looking for other alternatives, herbal, home remedies, anything that will help with this problem. Thanks in advance!
Do I need a prescription for melatonin?
Wanted to mention also that sometimes I can fall sleep very easily. It is staying asleep that causes me the problems. I wake up every 20 minutes and just stare at the clock. I have wondered also why the Tylenol PM still works as it seems my body would not react to it any longer but without it, I could be up for days. I don’t drink coffee, tea, etc. Only water. I have seen 2 Doctors before and they tell me that if Tylenol works, continue on and that is what I am confused about. I don’t take any other medications just a vitamin in the mornings. I just don’t want to depend on them, like I have been. By the way, I have 2 Elementary aged children, full time business, and a job; so I have to function right everyday. Thanks everyone for your answers!

I get it when I take Nyquil or Tylenol PM. It’s terrible because I am nearly asleep physically, my brain is shutting down and I can’t keep my eyes open, but my legs feel like they’re being electrocuted!

I don’t get them any other time… Am I allergic?

Ambien 10 mg works, but I have to stop taking it because it is addictive. I then tried Trazodone (1/2 pill), but I still woke up in the night. Afraid to try more than 1/2 pill of Trazodone since next day I felt very groggy and felt like I was hallucinating. Tried Tylenol PM, but still woke up in the night. Has anyone else with insomnia caused by Cymbalta tried Lunesta or Rozerem or anything else that works?
