I am about to undergo surgery for sleep apnea. Surgeon says the recovery period will be the “worst I have ever felt”. Someone who had the surgery said it just like a “bad sore throat” and not too terrible. I would like to hear from others who have had the surgery, and whether they had any negative aftereffects. To stuck_in_lodi2008, which surgery was is that you had? With the somnoplasty I was reading about they insert a needle into the tissue and not actually cut it out. Is this what you had done?
