What do you look like when you sleep with sleep apnea? Take a look how the tongue constricts air flow causing you to choke.

Actually it wasn’t quite that bad … it was more like 95, but still a very severe case of OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea). The CPAP machine has given me a new lease on life.
Hell and i thought i had a bad one.
my index is 77,1, they never saw that before here in the netherlands. Average stop of 19,2 seconds and several long ones over a minute.
my dad has that and i’m really scared
please pray
The Snoring Isn’t **** website encourages patients to discuss their experiences with CPAP, Dental Mouthpieces and Pillar procedure. Visit the “Patient Comments” section and rate your appliance, CPAP or surgical procedure’s effectiveness.
and once you get your CPAP machine, remember it needs cleaning and tuneups too. It will need adjusting. My roommate doesn’t do this and he falls asleep in front of the television and it’s sleepapnea hell around here! ALL THE TIME! I told him if he doesn’t take care of himself, he’s OUT. I will not be responsible for a dead body. I just won’t. This scares me.
No you wouldn’t be aware of waking all the time that’s the horror of having sleepapnea … being tired all day does not necessarily mean you have sleepapnea. Did you run the checklist for sleepapnea and if so were there any other symptoms on it that you have? By example having to urinate many times during the night, snoring, sweating during the night, a very dry mouth when you awake, morning-headaches etc …
If so please go and have yourself tested on sleepapnea … it just may save your life
I have a really severe case … over 120 episodes per hour! Thank heaven for the CPAP machine … sufferers … wear it! Use it! Also it is better to sleep on your side, not on your back like this guy.
Not sweet. Sour!!!! Horror!!!!!!!!!!
i think i may have this! i hope not but im real tired during the day. But wouldnt i be aware that i was waking all the time??
Thank God you found out in time !!!
Sleepapnea can cause many healthproblems in the long run, and yes even death, if not treated. It’s a good thing you have your CPAP now. I wish you well !!!
I got my CPAP last night. No one wanted to room with me on trips anymore! I was told I was 95 times per hour on my sleep study. good thing I didn’t end up dead!
of course its hard to live hes chocking damn it O_O
I have always been a snorer and did not think too much of it … untill I got real tired all the time with no energy to spare.
Did some reading on the Internet and when reading about sleepapnea my alarmbell rang … I had myself tested and that was a good thing !!!
Since I was diagnosed with apnea (60 times per hour) I sleep with my CPAP and mouthmask and I feel much better although not a 100% yet and maybe I’ll never will … but at least I no longer sufficate in my sleep !!!
ppl have no idea this is so tough to live with, except spouses.
