I have sleep apnea and the CPAP machine works for me, but my father-in-law had the surgery to remove his uvula and he regrets it. He finds it’s a lot easier to choke when eating and it hasn’t really helped him. The other surgery is where they break your jaw and realign it, and just the thought of the surgery and the recovery was enough to scare me off…
alfons ven cure helps for this
apnea is a higher system disease
I had the UP3 surgery 6 years ago and the recovery was terrible. I totally had to retrain myself to swallow and do choke more often from things going “down the wrong pipe”. It helped the sleep apnea somewhat, I am able to feel more like I got some rest in the morning, however the snoring is back as badly as it had been prior to the surgery.
