My boyfriend has sleep apnea pretty badly, he says he’ll stop breathing for lengthy amounts of time. That kind of scares me! So, if anyone has any good household or other rememdies that can help with sleep apnea, please let me know! Thanks! :)

I was told a vaporizer will help with that

If he has been diagnosed by a professional, he will need the equipment. If not, he needs to be professionally tested.
There are no home remedies for this condition, despite what some may tell you.

The best thing to do is get a sleep test done ordered by a Dr. It will cause his heart to enlarge and get weak as he gets older. This happened to my father, he would go 90seconds without breathing, no oxygen, and affected his heart which led to conjestive heart fairlure. If he needs they can give him something to sleep with at night that will help him 100%. This will help him breathe better.

You must get him to go see a doctor immediately! My brother is a researcher in this exact field and he has found that sleep apnea can be a signal for any number of underlying concerns. It may be something you’ve never even thought about. I had sleep apnea too. I went for an overnight sleep study at the urging of my brother and doctor and found out that I had a small blockage — at first diagnosed as a tumor! Turned out to be a false alarm, but I’m glad I found out. Also, I now use Breathe Right strips to reduce my snoring. I just started using a mouth guard to stop grinding my teeth at night and accidentally found out that it also stops my snoring. Good luck.

He needs to be evaluated with a sleep study. Please convince him to see his doctor about this. Sleep apnea can kill a person if not treated.
