I enjoyed everything they have put out since point #1 ( which has the best intro ever, no doubt in my mind).
But i think this album beats vena sera hands down….this album is fucking greatness

These 2 don’t even sound alike but Chevelle sounds more like the Deftones than Tool. In short, No, In my OPINION, they sound nothing like Tool.

What would that matter?? Tool has been around way longer than Chevelle. And for those of you who have actually listened to tool and chevelle, you would know they sound nothing alike.

i personally like chevelle better than Tool, mostly because their lyrics are easier to relate to.
but i do think that Tool is deeper, and definately better musicians than chevelle

If you think Tool has 5 people in the band, then there is NO FUCKING WAY you should be comparing any other band and Tool. I don’t care if that band is the fucking Jonas Brothers. If you don’t KNOW, don’t SAY ANYTHING. Dumbass.
I enjoy Tool more than Chevelle. I bet if you look into both bands equally like I did, you’d like Tool better, too. They’re both great; don’t get me wrong. But I’m an extreme music enthusiast. I listen to, interpret, and examine music all day every day. And to hear someone say that Chevelle is better / deeper than Tool kind of makes me chuckle a little on the inside. I mean, Chevelle is deep… but not like Tool. Hence the small, small chuckle.
Kickass song, though.

No point..because you’re inspired by someone doesn’t mean you can’t be better? As far as comparison goes you may be right..but it was a respond to a fucker who was comparing..so I just gave it
lol how the **** can you say pete is better than maynard. like seriously, rethink that one for a second. no doubt I fucking love the hell out of CheVelle but to say that pete is better than maynard when almost all of his influence/inspiration was originally from maynard and Tool would just be dumb. i’d rather not compare them at all, just two fucking badass bands in two different genres.

Chevelle is the hardest trio you’d find. Pete is kind of better than Maynard..Tool is progressive metal with like 5 men and Chevelle is Alternative metal with 3..do the fucking math
