Can you till if you have sleep apnea with a tape recorder?

My spouse has sleep apnea. You should be able to hear it. If you suddenly stop snoring (breathing) for about twice as long as normal or more then gasp (or snort) for a breath you’ve probably got it.

Sleepapnea is a condition where you stop breathing for short periods when you sleep. So a tape recorder will not tell you that.
yes, you should be able to tell with that, but you might not have a severe condition, so you might not do it every night… also some people only do it once a night, and i doubt your going to want to listen to a complete tape of you sleeping!!
