What Restless Legs Syndrome Feels Like

Donna, 51, experienced her first symptoms of restless legs syndrome (RLS) as a teenager. Living in silence for years, she convinced herself that she was crazy: She didn’t understand why she always had to move her legs, why she couldn’t sleep at night, and why it was so hard to explain the feeling to other people.

I don’t think I have RLS, but I def. have symptoms like this. It comes and goes. Don’t think I get it at night when I’m trying to sleep though.
i have this im crying right now cuza its so bad
I’ve had this since I was 4 years old and now am 18. I always thought I was going crazy as well! Thanks for putting it all into perspective. I completely feel your pain.
Same here, I have twitches deep in my legs at night that are probably not letting me get a good nights sleep.
I’m up watching this right now cuz of it!! lol
I believe i have this too. I am only 15, but my mother has had it for years, and her father had it extremely harshly for years as well. Mine is painful. Its just a shooting pain that feels like it has to be moved, so i kick my leg, and it gets worse. Sometimes I don’t get any sleep. I think its RLS but I’m not quite sure, it sounds like it, but I’ll find out tomorrow at the doctors.
Perfect description. I get it in my legs and in my back and I can wiggle around like a mad puppet but it will come right back. I feel like I have electricity running through me.
I have HORRIBLE RLS whenever i’m coming off pain pills. They are so horrible i wanna cut my legs off.
