do you have symptoms like bugs moving or needle pins or burning , numbness pain that you only get relief from by movement in your legs?. If not then its not restless leg syndrome. But to seriously get a diagnosis and help go to a docter and request to see a sleep specialist and to get a referral to a movement disorders centre as soon as possible, because it will save you time, I know someone with severe RLS and it took 5 years of seeing docters till finally one gave her a referral to a movement disorder centre and they will either give you a parkinsons drug called mirapex or requip, or benzos like xanax , klonopin or pain killers for a severe case like my friend. If you ask a doctor to refer you to a movement disorder centre clinic you may wait 3-6 months which is better than 5 years.
I’m not sure if this would work for restless leg syndrome, but works immediately for leg cramps in bed, so why not give it a try…. a bar of soap!
