Mo asked:
I am sick of sitting in a Doctors office for an hour, only to be seen for 5 minutes and be told to come back for tests and the whole thing costing me 500 dollars.

My husband has this and he takes Tylenol or aleave to help with it.
Oh, how I wish there was one. But, there isn’t. At least, not something that works for everyone.
The problem is thought to be with how our brains work (or don’t work) related to iron uptake, dopamine production, and maybe other things. For some of us, taking iron actually helps, but it should not be taken until you know your serum ferritin, something EVERY doctor, in my opinion, should automatically test when you have RLS.
Warm baths help some, so does stretching, doing yoga, getting some, but not too much exercise, reducing or stopping alcohol if it affects you, stopping caffeine if it bothers you. Also, consider that other drugs can make RLS worse: some antihistamines, antinausea drugs, some SSRIs or other anti depressants, etc. So, sometimes it’s stopping something, rather than taking something.
There’s no easy answer. I suggest spending some reading about it. There are several good books written by doctors or RLS Foundation members. And the RLS Foundation is a great source of help and information.
I got rid of mine by taking lots of all natural OsteoMatrix.
Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions.
