I use medications for a chronic condition I have, (narcolepsy). The medication I am on is called provigil, (modafinil), I am unable to obtain it locally in a generic form, but I think it may be available as a generic internationally. Any Ideas, or stories are welcome.

My thought is that if it is not available generically locally, it won’t be available generically internationally either. When a drug is available generic, it means that the patents that were issued when it was introduced have expired or that the company has willingly released a generic version.
That being said, you may still be able to find it cheaper internationally than you can locally assuming that you are paying full price. That is related to how certain drug companies work with insurance companies to mediate pricing.
