yeah i have narcolepsy with cataplexy. whenever i get scared happy mad whatever kind of emotion ya know i kinda lose control of my muscles i dont *** on myself or anything i just cant hold myself up i’ll fall and slur my words my head falls.
Her husband’s behavior is a monument to his stupidity. She deserves a moron since she tolerates it!

Though sometimes, all it takes is one snap, and people get the message. Maybe he just doesn’t realize how annoyed she gets. Though there is a depressing amount of people who enjoy taking advantage of people who have involuntary reactions to things. Some sort of need for dominance. I don’t get what it does, really, but they like it anyway.
She should at least talk to him. Sometimes, just snapping or getting really angry at him once might show him it’s more offensive than he thinks.

You could never trust someone like that. Denying sex doesn’t address his underlying lack of empathy or compassion, it just means he gets sullen frustrated and tries to get back at her some other way.
I believe Sodium Oxybate is predominantly a treatment for Cataplexy; mine is relatively mild and not problematic.
Long-term amphetamine use has deliterious effects e.g. tachycardia, bone demineralisation, etc., and I plan to ask my Neurologist to put me on Modafinil when I see him next.
All she has to do is refuse to have sex for a month or so and he’ll get the message. Women can have a lot of pulling power.
As a side note, have you tried Sodium Oxybate?

I have Narcolepsy. Since I take Amphetamines as treatment, I probably have a defence in law for what I’d do to anyone who tried the “surprise-thing” with me.
There is a special circle of Hell reserved for anyone so dumb that they’d try to surprise their spouse into a narcoleptic episode “for a laugh” while she is being filmed about what a jerk he is for trying to surprise her into narcoleptic episodes “for a laugh”.
