Nice. I like how you asked your question twice.
But the answer is yes.
Yes most likely, since this is quite a long plane flight!
Probably, it a long one…
how long is a piece of string??
Most probably, yes. You will be at least 6 hours ahead.
There’s a pretty good chance you will, especially if you sleep during the flight.
Yes, and remember to try to stay awake, otherwise you’ll become a Langolier.
Yes. the best way to deal with it is to go to sleep when the natives sleep. If you arrive during the day, don’t take a nap or you will be off your entire trip. Wait until that night to sleep. It sucks, but it’s just for the first day or two.
Depends. If you’re going to party or vacation, than no. You’ll be amped up with so much adrenaline, sleep won’t matter. But… you will. Its easier though when you fly back. The jet lag isn’t so bad for some reason.
Probably but the best thing to do is try to sleep on the plane. When you get there, try to get fresh air and sunshine and adapt to their time zone. Even if you’re tired, try not to nap. Have a great trip!
It is very likely that you will. By traveling from West to East you are traveling against the clock and the apparent motion of the Sun. These are the conditions which throw your own internal body clock completely out of kilter.
The very best thing you can do when you arrive at your destination in Spain, is to have a light meal with very little alcohol, then take yourself off to bed and sleep for six to eight hours. You should awake totally refreshed and rid of any possible jet lag.
If you do not take this precaution and simply plunge in to normal activity, the jet lag will catch up with you and could ruin a whole week.
It could also be dangerous because you are very liable to make stupid mistakes and errors of judgement – not very nice, indeed potentially fatal, if you were driving, for example.
