Walk onto the carpet barefoot and make little fists with your toes.
When you get to your new destination you want to resist the urge to sleep in late. You should go outside in the sunshine in the late morning around 10:30 to 11:30. That is what you need to reset your internal clock to your new time zone.
That is based on research at Harvard Medical school. There is a company which was started by researchers there that works with companies to help their workers adjust to shift work and they use light. But the easiest thing to do is what I said above.
