I just read an article in Newsweek about women and sleep. Appetite loss is definitely a symptom when the body is sleep deprived. The article primarily focused on why women so often have sleeping problems. It varies from stress, hormonal changes, to yes...depression. If I were you, I'd set up an appointment with your doctor. If nothing else, they can set you up with a sleep clinic perhaps. It is really cool. They hook you up to machines and monitor your sleep patterns and can totally diagnose what is happening! Once they can focus on your sleep, then they can focus on the appetite. Just don't let it go on too long. Ok? Ok!!

Speaking as a long time insomniac my doctor tells me that depression could be a cause of it and thus the loss of appetite and poor sleep habits also if you are stressing over something.
