What you need is Melatonin, it is great for sleeping and getting the much needed rest. The product is called 'SleepSense'. It works under the best stress there was ever. My husband passed away 18 months ago. The Dr. finally gave me sleeping pills. Then, said I couldn't have any more. So I found these. I wanted to get some sleep not commit suicide. They work great. Product by Lorna Vanderhaeghe.

Monavie juice has helped a significant number of people with headaches and with insomnia (see monavie.com).
Herbal doctors use Feverfew for migraine prevention and Valerian for insomnia. Melatonin helps many people with sleep problems. I have used calcium-magnesium-zinc tablets to help people with both headaches and insomnia. A good multivitamin is useful too. Sleepytime tea or other herbal teas can help you relax.

A common remedy for migraine headaches is anything that contains caffeine. My uncle (a doctor) recommended this to my mother for her migraines, and she has had success with it. Anything from coffee, tea, soda, and even chocolate has caffeine. However, seeing as how you are trying to fix migraines and insomnia this may not be an ideal choice because it is also a stimulant. I believe this would be great for an office environment though.
As far as your imsomnia problem, this is much trickier. You goal here is to reset your circadian rhythm (sleep cycle) to a normal schedule. According to my college psychology text an effective procedure is to expose yourself to bright lights for an hour or so about a half hour before you plan on sleeping. This helps your body normalize its cycle. Flourescent lights proved most effective.
And of course, good luck!

The herb feverfew is good for migraines. I've had a lot of success with for my own. As for insomnia, I love valerian root. You have to take a fair amount but it does wonders. And you dont wake up feeling like a zombie.
Good luck!

Essential Oil of Lavender is very helpful for both headaches and insomnia. Dilute it in olive oil or another pure vegetable oil and rub it on the bottoms of the feet or the neck. You can find pure essential oils in most health food stores, or at GOOD LUCK!

Take high dose magnesium, it does wonders for migraines. I have also had some luck with lemon grass or mint tea, taken hot, lean over and inhale the scent, stiing in a dark, quiet room listening to music. About the music, really listen if you can, it will affect the blood flow in your brain more. I have also had some luck just practising feeling waves of healing move from the front of my head to the back, then down my spine. Sounds nutty but it works.
