HOME SLEEP TESTING with the Watch-PAT100; the easiest and most convenient way to diagnose SLEEP APNEA. Unlike many other tests that you have to do in a hospital or sleep laboratory, the Watch-PAT100 is an easy take home sleep test that allows you to sleep in your own bed and get the results in less than 24 hours. This compact device fits easily on a velcro armband with 2 finger sensors and body sensor attached. You then press the button and go to sleep. The next morning the Watch-PAT100 is returned to the office and you receive your results in a matter of minutes. Once your health care professional receives the results of the Watch-PAT100 test, they will be able to decide what the most appropriate treatment is for you. zrick@bellsouth.net – For information on Home Sleep Testing
Well….I can’t stay asleep in school yet just yesterday I slept for a full 11 hours.
Not only that, but the two days before that I stayed awake the whole night, and DID NOT feel tired in school.
All right…so I don’t have narcolepsy…how about sleep apnea.
I have sleep apnea (diagnosed in a sleep study). When I go to bed, I can fall asleep very quickly, but then I wake up. And after I wake up, then I can’t fall asleep again for a long time.
Does anyone else have this same problem? I can fall asleep very easily initially. But after I wake up again, then I have so much trouble sleeping.
My legs have been killing me and it is hard to keep them still especially when my body is getting tired and rubbing them don’t help I have to punch them to get any kinda of comfort. I asked my doctor in the past about this but he said that it was because I was tired but I am wondering if it could be restless leg syndrome
I’m seeing a therapist for my depression and am not on any medication but I’ve been getting insomnia and wondering how that could be related to depression. Also I’ve been losing my memory pretty badly to the point I wonder if I should see a neurologist, it’s kinda scary considering I"m relatively young and so am wondering if that could be related to depression though it wouldn’t seem like it. Why would I forget things if I’m not happy, ya know. Any ideas?

On a 15 hour flight to a different time zone, I took 4 or 5 dramamine to keep from getting sick. In the few nights after I arrived, I had difficulty sleeping, waking up in a panic several times. After a few days it went away.
After flying home, taking the same amount of dramamine, I am having similar symptoms. I wake up with feeling of numbness or tingling in my arms, and as if I had stopped breathing, like central sleep apnea? Would this be caused by the dramamine or by the jet lag itself?
