I also have diabetes and am taking cal-meg and iron for anemia. I have tried hot showers, calming lotions, sleeping pills, and even tried smoking pot. Everything works at first, but usually doesn’t last too long. Are there any herbs or teas I might consider? I just made a appointment with a acupuncturist. I hope she can help me. As you can see, I am open to any and all suggestions. Please help me get some sleep.

This is a high stress time. I’ve been diagnosed as depressed. Insomnia is really bad, to the point I dread going to bed. As soon as my head hits the pillow, my mind goes into high gear. Although I have a hard time losing weight normally, I’ve been dropping weight like you wouldn’t believe. Has anyone taken medications for problems like this, & was it effective? I finally got an appointment with the doctor this Friday. I’d appreciate recommendations from anyone. Thank you!
