Free Thinker asked:
I have bipolar, although it’s mild I think. I frequently go back and forth between depressed and normal. I also have obstructive sleep apnea and have always had trouble sleeping. I’m having my tonsils out in 3 months to correct the problem. Will alleviating the apnea help stabilize my moods as well?

I was diagnosed with a mild form of sleep apnea. I have tried a CPAP machine and couldn’t adjust to it. My doctor said I wouldn’t be a good candidate for surgery. I’m considering a dental device (mouth piece), but wanted to know if there are alternative methods.

Natalie C asked:
Trying to lose weight like so many of us. One of my main problems is night compulsive eating. I don’t want to feel nauseous, like some appetite suppressants can do. And I don’t want it to keep me up (I’m already taking something for insomnia, and the last thing I need is to make it worse.)
Don’t give obnoxious comments that judge me for wanting help with losing weight. It’s OBVIOUSLY not helpful.

What is helpful and works? Thanks!

I’m flying to Barbados from the UK next week and am staying there for two weeks. But because the tour operator has got an itinery planned, I only have on day at the start of the holiday to do what I want. Is there a way to overcome the jet lag on that one day?

miguel f asked: I am new to this area, I know no one, I read a lot and surf the web, no tv; I have problems sleeping and eating. I cannot eat in the morning. Is this insomnia and loss of appetite connected with constant boredom?
bmac you are an idiot. I am not complaining about how things are so bad for me, I’m asking a question as to whether this is why I have no appetite and insomnia.
everyone, I don’t think I’m depressed, or if I am, I’m handling it quite well.
And I am a Christian and read my bible daily.

survivorfish85 asked: In the UK a few years ago, there was a documentary about narcolepsy (the uncontrollable compulsion to fall asleep). For my psychology project part of it is to do with narcolepsy, and I would like to see this documentary again, but I don’t know where to find it. Can someone help me out?
Thank you
